Whether you’re completely new to firearms or seeking to sharpen your existing skills, this class offers a supportive, judgment-free learning environment where safety and confidence come first. Taught by experienced, patient instructors who understand the unique challenges of learning defensive shooting, this course breaks down handgun fundamentals into clear, easy-to-follow steps. You’ll learn how to safely operate your firearm, develop strong shooting habits, and begin thinking about real-world defensive scenarios without intimidation or unnecessary complexity.

What to Expect:

This is a hands-on, live-fire course designed to help you build skill and confidence step by step. Students receive personalized coaching and practical guidance throughout. By the end of class, you’ll leave with a solid foundation in handgun safety, improved shooting fundamentals, and an empowered mindset for personal protection.

 

What You’ll Need:

• A functioning handgun (rentals available)

• 100–150 rounds of ammunition

• Eye and ear protection (provided if needed)

• Closed-toe shoes and comfortable, range-appropriate clothing

• Holster (optional for beginners)

• Pen and paper for notes

Tuition: $60 per student

Experience Level: Beginner-friendly — no prior defensive training required.
 

Only basic familiarity with your handgun (loading/unloading) is recommended.
